Wait and install the ITR springs and retainers. Waiting and paying 130 later is cheaper then a engine rebuild.

, definately, if you can get them for 130 bucks, throw them in, and you'll be able to rev it out.

Shouldn't cost that more to get retainers installed @ the same time as the springs. Its all up to you. If you want absolute 0 problems then wait until you have all the ITR hardware to run the CTR cams.

It shouldn't be that much it they are already in there to do the springs. Do you knwo if they are doing it with the head on or off the car.

They may charge a little more (Unless you know them real well) but its definently a insurance policy to upgrade your Springs and retainers to ITR's. Good luck

2 days??? is he wee-todd-did? we did cams and valvesprings in ~4hours! and that was taking our time. i was running ctr cams w/o valvespring upgrade and stock rev limit for ~10k miles, zero problems. when i upgraded to an ITR ecu, i put in itr valvesprings, kept the stock retainers. no problems
