Default CRX si clutch on a eg si hatch?

Would a clutch for a CRX SI (d16a I think?) fit on my 93 si hatch? my car has a d16z6, and the type of mclutch is a clutchmasters stage 2. My friend has one and is willing to give it to me if it fits my car, since my stock clutch is about to go.

thanks in advance.

The disc itself should work but I don't know about the pressure plate. We did the same thing with my buddies Del Slow. He put his clutch out of his A6 hatch into his Z6 Sol. We didn't use the pressure plate though. Try it out is all I can tell you.

Yup, the disc will fit. JUST MAKE SURE it's 89-91. And to let you know, that unless it's aftermarket, it was designed to handle 106hp instead of 125hp

It was an Exedy organic clutch. Not the OEM replacement one the semi racing clutch.

I can't believe how many people have been wrong here...

Anyway, the only difference between a 90-91 crx clutch and a 92-00 civic d series clutch is the throwout bearing. Get a hydraulic throwout bearing and you can use an 89 wagovan clutch if you want. Hell, I've got a hydro clutch from a cx for my crx...

Dude, it fits. Get a throwout bearing from autozone for 20 bucks and it's the same thing as if it were made for your car to begin with.
