CRV A/C Bracket not Fitting with ITR Motor In EK
I'm trying to re-install my A/C and purchased a CRV A/C bracket as I have read here that it will work with the D-Series compressor. My problem is that the mount portion that bolts to the chasis is too tall not allowing the mount holes to line up.
Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm using what I believe is an A/C rubber mount as in it has the X pattern rubber supports. I also tried using a similar side mount with the same result.
Anything will help. Thanks.

Youre wrong too
I and plenty of others use the p7j bracket without any issues at all.
I have it on my b18 w/ a d series compressor - bolts up perfectly
Youre wrong, sorry

im aware it bolts up to the block and compressor, but i was told that you cant retain the driverside lower torque mount where it bolts into frame? got ne pics?

This seems key. I am using what I think is an ITR torque mount. X shaped rubber pattern. The top of the mount would not fit over the hump on the lower frame rail so I cut the top of the mount to make it fit over the hump, which it successfully does.
Pdiggit, what does your mount look like?

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
Bracket did not fit at all. No matter what I did, I could not make this fit. Even with the top two bolts installed, the bottoms did not line up at all.
I'm 100% sure this is a CRV bracket, I used a brand new Civic mount and it STILL did not work. For now, I threw on the ITR bracket (bolted up like a dream) so that I could test drive the car. I'll wait until I find a P54 and try that one.
On a side note - Place Racing mounts are absolute bullshit. If you have them, swap them out for either HAsports or stock mounts ASAP. The front tab on my rear tranny mount was completely broken off. Very shitty welds.
