Crower camshaft question
I need some opinions on the sohc d16z and d16y crower camshaft 63440. I need someone who can give me comparisons between this cam and others like Zex and Skunk2, or at least point me in the direction of somewhere where I could get some more info on pro's and con's.
I did a search, and it said that archive results were disabled or somethin?
Thanks.

pro's - some good power
con's -- hmm, where do i start. after about 500 miles, it'll snap in half.

Re: Crower camshaft question (AllShowNoGo)
They break easily? I heard that Crower had some pretty reliable equipment, and that was really the least of my worries. Does the Crower camshaft have to have "Crower" somewhere on it? Anybody else wanna give me their 2 cents?

Re: Crower camshaft question (crazy_ham)
All aftermarket cams have history of failure. I have a friend with a GSR that has crower cams and has had them in his car for awhile now. No problems whatsoever. There are just a bunch of people on H-T who give a company a bad rep based off of another peron's experiences.

They only make them for the z6 and y8, in other words the sohc vtec models.
