Hey guys in the last 2 weeks I have seen like 3 or 4 posts about Crower cams breaking .. has anybody had a good exp with them ? do they make sick HP why do people keep risking it ..

There have always been polls about breaking cams....Crower, Jun, Skunk, you name it they all have broken.

What engine are you looking for? It's the DOHC's that have had the major problems however, it's getting more and more rare and Crower will replace the broken cams.

I have a 2nd gen b16a ... I am kinda leaning to the CTR cams but I figured I would ask and see what people say

There's been quite a buzz about Crower cams these days on H-T, I would say just read through all the threads and you can get a better picture. I've heard enough to scare me away, not that I even have a need for the cams.

i've seen the crower cam waste a cx/b18c swap first hand, broke between cylinder 1&2 intake side. motor was a total write off. would not risk the crowers. others may break too but seen the destruction myself. and, they tryed to blame a former bmw/porsche tech for a incorrect install when the motor went for over a year with the set up.

crower sux had 3 sets break personally and know of about 7 other s when i called crower they where like really i cant belive it im sure

i love my 404's even though it isnt tuned yet. i've only heard of the v-tec cams breaking though never non v-tec cams. heard lots of other LS owners say they were better than any other LS cams available

they where customers cams they did make excellent power thats why other custoimers kept wanting them no matter what
