So looks like I'm moving temporarily from sunny portland OR to south carolina. Wondering what you all think of removing back seats to increase storage space? Would most likely replace with ITR seats at a later date. (Sorry forgot to add 99 civic cx)

ya do it. it helps with long stuff. you could always use a roof rack too

Fold seats down. Don't ditch them. Get a roof rack and a box. You'd be surprised what you can fit. Ship boxes to yourself through USPS - very cheap for 30kg. Done this multiple times cross-country (Canada - even bigger/longer/further).

PS. Love Portland OR - what could possess you to leave??

Also anyone ever tow a lowered civic on a tow dolly with a jeep grand cherokee or similar sized vehicle long distance? (Talking about the kind of dolly that would just have the front wheels on the dolly)
