Creased Dents
I have a few, lets make that uh a lot of creased dents and I was wondering how these can be fixed? The dents I have a very very small and looks to be un-repairable. I've heard of paintless dent removal but I don't think it would work because my dents are so bad. So what are other ways to remove my creased dents? Can they even be fixed??
To get a picture of what it looks like imagine if you took a small end of a screw driver and jamed the end to one of my doors, yup looks like that.

Re: Creased Dents (Eg_Egg)
Pics would help, but it sounds like you would have to go the repainting route. Creased dents don't really come out with those paintless dent removers.

Yea your going to have to repaint it. And pics are the only way we could really give you an answer. Depending on how bad it is you might just need a new door skin, or you could just block it off with some bondo.

there are some pro shops that do true paintless dent removal, but they can only do so much before they have to fill.
These shops tend to have large amounts of experience and can tell you right off wether they have to repaint or if they can fix it.
I know a shop in connecticut that does it, the owner will spend hours pushing on a dent the size of a dime if there is a chance he can push it back out.
If you find a shop, you'd be looking to spend about $100 per dent, pending on pannel.
If you have a good amount of dents, it would probably be more cost effective to get a re-paint.

Ok heres the real deal. You shouldnt need to put more than 1/4 inch of bondo anywhere on your car. If you put more, you risk cracking. Bondo does not flex much (especially when its thick), but steel does when heat or cold is applied, so the next real hot or cold day your panel may start to show cracks.
The problem here is your stating that you have creases. When that happens your metal is stretched. The only way to get that back requires some serious repairing. You would have to heat up certain points in the metal and cool them down, shrinking the metal back down to its normal tightness. This is all best left to a professional.
