This thing has been aggrevating me for the past couple of weeks. Just rebuilt my motor swap. I have a 98 EK Hatch, with a fully rebuilt, boosted b18b1. JE 9:1 Pistons, shot-peened stock rods, stock head. The car ran like a top before the rebuild, but spun a bearing, so tore it all down. Nice new, fresh polished crank, all new rod & main bearings, new oem honda piston rings. Everything is perfectly aligned, compression is great across all 4, it's getting fuel, it's getting air, spark, and timing is dead on. I can let it sit for a little while, and it'll fire up first crank, but i have to keep pedaling the gas to keep it alive, then it just dies out. it sounds great and runs for maybe 10 seconds before it finally just poo's out on me Then when I try starting it after that, it won't fire up and eventually just act like it's floods out. I have dsm 450's with wired in resistors, ran just fine before, and all set up with a Hondata S300 system. The car sat for about 8 months before the rebuild was done too. There was maybe an 1/8th of a tank of gas in it before I added gas to it, which it has a lil over half a tank now. New fuel filter, and have been checking it. Walbro 255lph pump is priming up hard. It acts like it runs out of gas, but after it won't start anymore, it act like it floods it out.....I've been working on and swapping honda's for 7 years, now, and I'm stumped on this one....any help would be greatly appreciated.
