Default crazy *** spark plug problem, weird!!

hey guys i bought a 2000 ex a while back with a swap all ready done, its a b16, i was doing rutine maintence and wanted to change plugs. i went to autozone and got the plugs for a 2000 civic SI with the b16A2, (my engine says b16A on it ) installed the plugs for a VTECH DOHC B16A2, and the car spits and spudders and wont excellerate.. thought it was weired, took the old plugs that i had pulled out in to napa, and they did a search on them and told me they go in a 2001 integra type-r and not a b16. i asked for a set of those plugs for a 2001 integra type-r and installed them and the car runs fine? why would the car spit and spudder on a plug for a 2000 si with a b16? from why i know about my car its a stock b16A2. Thanks for the help.

One should ALWAYS check for proper gapping, even if they come "pre-gapped".

Here's NGK's application chart for the 2000 Civic SI...
http://www.ngk.com/results_app.asp?AAIA=1363025

Here's NGK's application chart for the 2001 Integra Type-R...

Looks like they initally sold you the wrong ones... Their application database might be at fault, but try to make the chick feel guilty and get at least a sympathy feel or something... after she turns 18...
