Crankshaft Pulley Bolt Size????
I just had my crank pulley fall off when I was driving down the road a couple of hours ago and the Acura dealer isnt open until Monday, So I was wondering what size the bolt is that holds on the crankshaft pulley on a '99 LS B18B motor???

Think he'd be referring to thread size.
He'd have to be a complete & useless waste of life if he was referring to head size...
Talk about "search newb" if that's what you were looking for.

Timing Belt also. If your timing belt fails then a valve could have been open and a piston could have come up and struck it. it also powers A/C and P/S if you have it.

I thought that too, but on the exploded diagram of a B16A3 I found, the timing belt is driven via a seperate toothed gear set further back on the crankshaft.
Though with the pulley falling off, the gear may work it's way loose, since it looks like it's held in place by the pulley. 'course the diagram could be wrong. My Helms is in my car, and it's too freakin' cold to run out and yank it...

the timing belt rides on the oil pump gear, not the crank pulley. as long as the gear didnt come off or the keyway come out the motor will be fine.
i wouldnt recommend using anything but an OEM bolt with locktight on the crank pulley though.

Unless something got in the crank gear while the crank pully was off the timing belt is fine. Although i would worry more of the key holder and the end of the crank. If those pieces are screwed then so are you.
I believe the size is 14mm x 1.0mm or 0.5mm. Its damn close thats all i know, and i recommend only getting the bolt from a dealer and no where else.

nope, sure doesnt, the crankshaft goes through the oil pump, the oil pump drive gear rides on the crank, and the timing belt rides on the oil pump drive gear. i think you are confused. the timing belt is essentially driven by the crankshaft if thats what you mean.
