Crankshaft pulley bolt removal
I've searched and got all kinds of techniques of crank pulley bolt removal. I have one silly question though. It loosen by turning counterclockwise right? I never tried removing it before. I am a little unsure since most or all old Honda engines rotate counterclockwise, cept the new ones. Anybody got new technique of loosening it? BTW my Civic has a D16Z6. Thanks guys!!!

No, I am just wondering cuz like I explained on my first post of Honda engine rotating counterclockwise. I will be changing my timing belt and water pump tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reply. I hope I'll be able to remove it with little fuss.

Re: (Mervic)
some tips if u dont have air tools:
-make sure u use 1/2" or larger drive sockets and extensions for that thing.
-lower it on your spare tire
-put it in 5th gear
-have someone step on the brakes while u try cranking it off.
if that doesnt work:
-remove starter
-jam pry bar into the teeth
-try again.
have fun
oh and BTW, make sure u follow the helms manual instructions when reinstalling.
