I went through this not too long ago...I couldn't get it off for anything. I took it to a local honda shop and the guy busted it loose with a 3/4 inch impact. Then he just bumped it back on that way I could get it off when I got it back home. Charged me 5 bucks. Saved me tons of frustration.

We actually bought a 3/4" gun just for this purpose, and there has yet to be a crank pulley bolt that it couldn't remove in a few seconds. It has proved well worth its cost.

Engine in the car method: just use the 19mm lug wrench that is for changing the spare instead of breaking your ratchets on this. Place car on jack stands, just the front is fine. Insert your crank pulley tool in the opening on the crank pulley. The handle should be pointing down and to to the front of your car like : /. Now stick your 19 mm lug wrench through the opening and make sure the handle is above the axle so when you rotate the moroso tool clockwise, the lug wrench catches on the axle. Then I just take a floor jack and pump it up on the crank tool, effortlessly breaking the bolt free.

If the motor is out of the car, lock either the pulley tool or the wrench to the floor and use a breaker bar to break it loose.

Both techniques are very easy, if the motor out of the car, you might need a buddy to hold it in place for you so it doesn't move around.

i used the brakes to hold the motor still and used a 24" 19mm lug wrench. worked like a charm
