Default Crankshaft problems

alright, so i was just informed that i have a spun rod bearing, and it's the cause of the knock i here from my engine. thing is i have no idea how bad the damage is to the crankshaft. hopefully its minor and i can just replace the bearings, but worst situation ill need to get my crank ground and possibly get oversize bearings for it. can anyone find any info on how to take a crankshaft out? ive tried looking and can't find anything, or maybe someones had experience with this?

removing the crankshaft is easy.
and having an air compressor makes it alot easier.

remove all your oil pan screws and oil pan
remove the "oil collector" i believe its called. the part between the oil pan and crank.
remove oil pump and the other side plate.
remove main bolt that hold the crank
remove rod bolts and lift crank.

i removed all parts from my B16A2 short block. i will take pics of everything i mean and i will post them here

i dont think ya can with a manual. i dont remember ever seeing a cover you can take off of the bellhousing to get access to the clutch. so if you cant get to the clutch, you gotta pull the tranny off to get to it.
