is it an ebay special? you need that sensor to make sure ur crank is within spec. plus you'll be getting a CEL too. im assuming that you didnt put in the plastic part?

It'll run, but as eK9aT10pSi said, you'll be throwing a code all the time. It'll throw code P1337, CKF no signal. Your car will run, but will throw that code because your OBD-2 ECU looks for that sensor... you won't pass bar either. However, mine passed smog without it and the CEL light on.

Underdrive crank pullies are useless. If your trying to reduce rotational mass, the proper area of lightening is the flywheel. If you get rid of the harmonic balance, it will cut your engines life in half (it dampes the crank harmonics). If your trying to underdrive the accessories, the proper way is to replace the pullies on each accessory with larger ones.
There isn't anything positive that crank pullies do that can't be acomplised by other means.
