lefty loosey.
I just did this like a month ago. Pull off starter, stick a screwdriver in there to hold flywheel still (not in teeth, in the cover thing). This will keep it from turning, get breaker bar and 6 pt 17 mm socket and lean on that thing.
good luck

If you pull off the starter (a few bolts and you can pull it back) you can look in the hole with a flash light. You will see the flywheel in there. I tried to stop the flywheel from moving by wedging a screwdrive in the teeth and having the shaft of the screwdriver stopped against the trans housing as I tried to loosen the bolt. The screwdriver kept popping out of the teeth, so that didn't work. What I ended up doing is sliding the screwdriver into a slot that is on the clutch cover thing.
Its the metal, circular thing that bolts directly to the flywheel. I don't know what it is called but I know that the clutch pressure plate is inside of it (clutch housing maybe?)
Anyway, if you are looking in the hole you will see the flywheel, and a round plate/cover thing bolted to the flywheel, well this cover thing has slots around the edge of it. I just stuck a screwdriver in a slot and cranked the crank shaft until the shaft of the screwdriver binded up against the transmission housing, preventing the flywheel from budging while I broke the bolt loose.
Hope this helps. I think the clutch is the thing I understand the least on a car.

works everytime, one thing that i noticed is that if your having a hard time with the impact try some pb blaster, then let it soak for a few, after soaking try going forward with the impact (tighening) then try going left loosey again. this has helped me out a couple of times
p.s. don't do that to long though the bolt may never come off, or worse break the threads off in the crank

how stupid are you to use a screw driver? its gonna break unless its real thick. use a prybar and jam the flywheel from underneth thats how i undid the crank pulley on my old lude. i used a impact gun and didnt budge. lubed it tryed again still didnt budge so i did it the old fashion way worked like a charm. they also make special tools to take the pulleys off like a harmonic balancer.

I thought that the screwdriver being thick was implied. It didn't break, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it. And that's how a lot of people do it, I got the idea from a Honda Tuning article where they used a SCREWDRIVER.
I guess if you're an idiot you would have to be told to use a thick screwdriver, so for morons like you: use a THICK screwdriver.

screw drivers are fine (thick), impact is best :thumbup
a little tip when taking it off: remove the bolt and see where the pin is. if it is not at 12 o'clock, put bolt back in and turn until pin is on top. makes it easier to put crank pulley back on without the pin falling out.

Hrm. I always thought having the right tool was the best way. Use that with an impact wrench and/or breaker bar, should work like a charm.

Re: crank pully remove (MonkeyBoy668)
Yeah im trying to find that tool. Or i might buy a 50mm hex bolt and make my own. I used an impact wrench, Airpower tool with about 200psi, Cheater bar, A chain wrench that is now broken. Nothing seems to work. And i cant take the car anywhere cause i havent gone to DMV and make everything legit.
Thanks for the help-John-

Here is the link for the snap on tool. It is a little expensive but well worth it especially if you have a couple of friends with hondas too. It's called a harmonic balancer pulley removal tool. I think.

To the left, make sure after you replace them that you tighten them back down. I made the mistake of not doing that before
