Default Crank pulley vibrating at idle

My crank pulley vibrates at idle but when I rev it a little it kinda goes away (or at least it spins so fast its not noticeable to the eye). What could the problem be? The key or bolt? maybe I didn't install it completely flat? thanks

does the crank pulley have any chips in it? has it been dropped. it could be off balanced. your bolt could be loose.

Check the condition of the rubber between the outter and inner pulleys.. if its detorated it will do this.. Or does it move side to side? could be your thrust washers going

i had that problem on my last ride right before i sold it. we fucked up the pulley during the swap. after about 300miles it started getting out of balance and was wobbling at idle. rev it up and u couldnt see it that much. i ended up replacing it because i didnt want to have any further problems. i suggest u do the same. it tore up my key, but thank god it didnt tear up the end of the crank. i suggest u dont drive it like that to minimize it from tearing up the keyway on the end of the crank. if u catch it early like i did, all u gotta get is a new pulley(120.00) and a new key(1.00). lata
