what type of air compressor do you have?? if its not rated at 600psi you will only get as much as the air tank will put out..

I have a 93 cx and I just put the old impact to it,but if you are running a manual tranny remove the dust cover on the bottom of the tranny and use a large screwdriver to "wedge" in the flywheel teeth to keep the motor from turning over.
It wouldn't hurt to spray the bolt with PBlasters penetrating oil a good 5-10min. before you try to take it loose.Even though you can only see the head of the bolt the penetrating oil will help, trust me!
Also if it has never been off it might take a while, especially if the volume of compressed air is limited.
