crank angle sensor use to run individual coils
Can I use the crank angle sensor to run individual coil packs on crome or some other stand alone unit and get rid of the dizzy?

Re: crank angle sensor use to run individual coils (sorrule)
hi there, im using a kit that does just that. gives you 2 coil packs and a cdi module- brilliant bit of kit..
before i bought it- i had designed a system that would take the igniter input from the ecu and using the crank angle sensor, work out the correct coil to use.. but this was easier (and comes with all the coil packs .etc)

hope that helps.. i think most people including myself agree that the standard dizzy is ample enough even for stupid power. im not sure of your reason for wanting it, but if its the same as my reason, im sure the new system requires much less maintanence- plus i use mine on track for prolonged periods...

well i just want an ignition system that is a little more reliable and accurate because I'll be boostin pretty high and don't want any ignition issues. The stock dizzy and an msd box can be kinda flaky. That Ultra ignition is like $750. I want to see if i can find some one to get crome or neptune to do it and get coilsticks or something. I'm still researching. Just lookin for ideas
