cracked radiator
i was driving my car home from work and i was pulling out at a stop sign and when i got to first gear idling it bounced up to 2 grand and then went back down to 1 and when i was pullung out it started boggin out so i shifted to second quick and it felt like it was gonna shut off so i had to mash on it and all the other gears to keep it runnin and when i finally pulled over i got out and went to the front of my car and a hole bunch of coolant started poring out and by the time i could get to opening the hood it was all drained out. So i put water in it and i found out where it was leaking at and i think its cracked on the bottom as well, i didnt take it apart yet but im goin to, i was wondering if i should just get stop leak for now and then buy new radiator or just buy one straight up now? Whats a good place where i wont get raped for a new radiator?

Re: cracked radiator (EJ1civic coupe)
dont waste your time with stop leak, i would say start off by checking your local junk yards then save up and get an oem replacement, or depending on your set up get a nice one like koyo or fluidyne

I think I got mine form Radiators.com with a lifetime warranty. If you had trouble with idle and then noticed the radiator being "blown", I'd worry about having a head gasket leak. Mine did the same thing when the head gasket was blown. The combustion gets out through the craked head gasket and overpressurizes the water jacket, boom goes the radiator.
Might look for white residue on your tailpipe.
Just worth checking since you said it was stumbling and idling badly.
