Cracked my trans case: got a quick question

I have a USDM b16a2 the motor and trans only has 40k miles on it

the other day i cracked the outer trans case to the b16,

i have a junk hydro ls trans laying around and was wondering if the outer trans case was the same or would i have to source one from a b16?

help is greatly appreciated thanks

All b series transmission will work on ALMOST any be series engine. Only one that is different is the Prelude's B20

Whats the difference?

You can still use a cable ls trans case as long as its a big spline too cant you?

OP, I have a case. Itll cost you tho. I like to keep a spare one on hand since Im hard on transmissions. lol
