Default Cracked head post for distributor

I just bought a b16 head and I was curious if the crack is the picture will disturb how the distributor sits on the head.



and thoughts?

I would think yes. It isnt something i would risk.
Have you spoken with a shop or anything? They may be able to weld a peice or fill it in and then re drill and tap.

If your talking about the area circled, no there will not be any problems. You still have two bolts for the dizzy still.

If you want get a longer bolt with a washer and a nut. But just having two bolts will not give you any problems.

If its the cam guide then you better call houston and tell them you have a problem.

my dizzy is on with just one bolt and ive been driving it like that for over a year now and it hasnt given me any problems

yea thats what I was talking about thanks a lot. i guess it makes no sense repairing that

buts wrong with my cam guide? it's not completely bolted down but for some reason it wont sit flush
