Couple of things I noticed that may need replacement
when I attempted to replace the timing belt, etc. The rubber damper mount that connects to the front of the engine on a 1998 civic - looks like the arm is the A/C bracket. I noticed that the little rubber "fingers" that connect the big center rubber piece to the outside mount are tore. Should that be replaced?
Also, the outside boots on the steering rods are also ripped. I assume those may be easy to fix, and a front end alignment necessary?
Since I'm taking the vehicle into the shop, I will probably have them fix those as well, since at this point I don't have the time. Thoughts on the rubber thingy for the A/C bracket??? Thanks!

Do you have the number for that part? I wonder if the local parts house sells them? What do you mean I won't need the mount? Does the insert pop in and out? Thanks, sorry for the noob question.

Re: Couple of things I noticed that may need replacement
well lots of people don't run the a/c mount and other torque mount, they just have harder engine mounts
my del sol's were trashed too but the other mounts were fine and the engine didn't move at all
