Default A couple random questions: (brakes, cruise control, etc)

So after coming home from a roadtrip, i have a couple questions:

A) Why in hot weather (or is it lower elevations?) does my brake pedal sink towards the floor slowly while i sit in traffic, but its solid as a rock here at home in Colorado?

B) Why is it that cruise control seems to be able to get the car up a long hill much better than you just flooring it the whole way--my cruise seems to be able to keep a constant speed in the mountains no matter what, but if i turn it off i have to downshift back to 4th

C) Why when i shift, especially into 4th or 5th i feel like theres too much backlash in the transmission, or like the CV joints are getting loose or somethings whack in the driveline... but i cant find anything loose anywhere?

Default Re: A couple random questions: (solerizr)

1) the density of the break fluid changes with elevation and heat...get better fluid
2) cruise controls are highly intelligent, they know your car better than you
3) you probably have worn suspension bushings, or engine mounts. Or your ball joints need to be replaced
