Couple quick questions
I have an AEM cai intake, but I want a short ram since when it rains there always seems to be deep puddles where I go. I was wondering if it's possible to cut the cai to make it a short ram. If so where abouts would I make the cut?
Also I have the "up and down" idle problem(I've searched and know what to do). I was wondering if any one has a pic of the d16z6 intake to show me exactly what two things I need to take off. One I know you take off to clean and the other has some little "wax" like screw that you turn about a 1/4 turn.
Thanks

Re: Couple quick questions (Maul Rat)
Isn't your intake 2 pieces?
If not, just drive slower in the rain. If that doesnt work, make a sock that fits over the filter. How often does it rain there?

Re:
ek forever guy- I'm not sure if it's a two piece, haven't seen the car in a couple months. I parked it for the winter at my Mom's and started it as often as possible. When it comes to how often I drive in the rain, the car is my daily driver, so if it's raining when I go to/come from work/school whatever, I'm driving in it.
envee- Have you done/ seen it done. That's about where I thought just wanted clarification to see if it was possible.
Thanks

Yeah, it's done regularly by people who are tired of/afraid of hydro lock. It's just a pipe. Cut it before the bend, get the bypass valve like he said and fit it on.
