A couple questions
I have a few questions about different kits. I have said before I am more for the style than the speed and trying to figure if any of you have or know someone who has does these before:
1: HID kits....
-what kits are good?
-are they easy to install? plug and play?
-are they safe to use with aftermarket projector headlights?
2: OEM "style" Fog Lights(ebay)
-any kind of special mods needing to be done?
-are the plug and play kits bullshit?
-easy to modify the bumper for the lights?
3: Will 19x7.5'' wheels with a 35 series tire fit properly?
-rubbing?
-can the vehicle be lowered if they are good to run and how much?
thank you for your help.

The kits I've seen are plug and play and cheap (about $150-180). They're easy to install if you know + from -. I wouldn't reccomend them however if your going for brighter headlights, the beams just scatter becasue you have to have the right housings to direct the light. If your going for purple headlights then you don't care and they'll work great for you.

If your gonna get a foglight kit at least go with a password kit, its worth the money. The cheap ebay chinese kits have bad switches and I've seen several sets burn up its about a 50/50 chance. They're easy to install if you know + from neg and know where to find a parking light signal 12v. You also have to modify the bumper on most kits but they're should be factory cutouts and screw holes already molded into your factory bumper for the kit.
AS far as the tire, 19's are too big for a civic/

1. * The cheap ones.
* Yes, just figure where you want to mount it.
* Safer with projectors, yes.
2. * Just simple wiring.
* Maybe, just do your homework.
* Yes, break out the rotary tool.
3. * No.
*Yes.
*Lower the car, yes...but not on 19's!
The largest rim I like to see on a Civic is a 16", even a 17" is pushing it.

Re: A couple questions (koldkustoms)
1) The McCulloch HID's are good, but expensive. Don't for go an ebay one they will pop.
2) They are easy to install.
3) 19" wheels will not fit.
Pretty much what the guy above me said, but McCulloch are good for HID.

Phillips X-Treme > any pnp HID kit.
Ive personally seen two expensive kits on my roomates car. They suck testes. I've had my set of x-tremes for a year now. Best lighting upgrade I've ever done if you don't count adding a super-bright LED to my interior dome light.

oem foglights from ebay work and look just as well as passwordjdms does. dont waste your money with password. ive bought my fogs for my eg and ek from ebay and had no problems at all.

Re: A couple questions (koldkustoms)
ive seen civic sedans with 20 inch wheels and a 30 series tire. a 19 inch wheel and a 35 series tire will rub like hell. but why the hell do you want a 19 inch wheel? i have two sets of 17's and if i can sell one im going with 15's. 19's would look tacky and you wouldnt be able to drive your car aggressively at all. nor would it be safe due to the drastically changed handling of the car.

i'm not looking to drive fast etc.... just want looks..... with stock suspension i figured that 19''s would fit good. where would it rub?

fenders, it would bump turning, prolly the inner fenders. and with stock suspension you will have a huge wheel gap. it cant be done with out sacrificing drivablity. nor is it worth it imo.

You better get a low offset wheel, trim your fender liners, and expect to be limited as to how far you can lower it.
