Couple clutch changing questions?
OK tomorrow me and my buddy are going to attempt to change the clutch on my EX. Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for? Anything that will surely give problems? Any idea how long the process will take for 2 people who have never done a clutch before? haha i'm nervous about it if you couldn't tell.....one more thing, is it pretty much a guarantee that the flywheel will need to be machined? Cause we won't get it off til the evening and anyplace to get it done will be closed. Should I just buy a new flywheel? Thanks in advance for any help.

it is pretty straight forward. if you've never done it i am going to say it will take you probably 4+ hours. make sure you use your clutch alignment tool. you can probably get away without resurfacing your flywheel also. good luck.

4 hours doesnt sound bad. Now if I don't resurface the flywheel, is it not going to engage as smoothly as if I had? Would it be a noticeable difference? Thanks for the reply.
