1/4 mile time = 16's if you are a good driver (perfect launching your car, shifting without letting go of the throttle) hmmmmmmmmm maybe lower 16's

Honestly, no one can tell you what you're going to do. With a well built Dseries engine you can expect to make 150-160 whp with good tuning. Gutted and with a very good driver you may be able to break into the mid 14s.
Twin loop will do nothing for the car. Skunk2 cam will do a little something, but without head work the Y8 head is going to be pretty much unable to take advantage of the cam.

Re: could you tell me my power (SovXietday)
haha this is a funny thread.
actually i have a y8 also in my coupe with i/h/e and i think i can keep up(if not tie) a STOCK SI, which is supposed to run high 15's...but i guess it also depends on the driver
im guessing your making maybe like 115-120 to the wheels, if not less...remember we only have like 106whp to begin with...
also my friend has a semi-build head on his z6 and its actually kinda quick for a sohc
boost the biznizle

Re: could you tell me my power (LiL_Shaun)
I have I/H/E and I kept up with some kids modded integra. Thing is, from the amount of blue smoke coming out of his car you would have thought he was running on crude oil.
What I've found is that although I/H/E doesn't add much HP, it keeps the car from bogging everytime I shift. I no longer begin shifting to second gear at 60 mph and get in second at 55. Make's for a much smoother drive.
