Could this be a record?
Tonight around 10pm I picked up my 94 hatch (Si). I drove it over to a friends house to show him my new purchase and then decided to run to Taco Bell for a late snack. The guy working the drive-thru said that he liked the car and he was looking to purchase one hopefully soon. I told him that I had just picked it up and what my plans were for it. He had similar tastes and asked some more questions about it. His last question was, "hey, wanna sell it to me?" At first I didn't take it too seriously, but after I thought about it for a second I said, "sure." I asked him when he would like to test drive it and he said that it wasn't necessary. He told me that he was getting off at 12am and wanted it tonight. I was shocked, but at the same time, very curious. I thought to myself that maybe I could make a little money, but wasn't getting my hopes up. I ended up making a quick $700.00 in cash which will help me out because me and my girl are going off for the weekend. I had the hatch for all of a little less than 4 hours, sold it, made all my money back + $700.00 and made my girl very happy all at the same time. Could this be some type of record for shortest amount of time owning a car?

No no. My bad, I forgot to mention I came back to meet him after he got off of work. He had to go home to get the money and I had to go home to eat and get someone to follow me out in the del Sol.

haha nice.
Another record.
My friend bought this CRX (baby blue MACCO paint) with a 1.6 SOHC Vtec engine. He had it for about 3 months, then decide to go back to his orignal car Mustang 5.0. Anyway, he found a buyer online, and met the guy up in SF (about 10 mins away) The guy test drives the car, likes it and "busts" out the cash. They transfer the title and all the paper work. My friend jumps in his buddys mustang. The other guy gets in the CRX and takes off speeding up the street. My friend begins to count the money one more time (just cause its fun) when they hear skiding followed by a loud crash. They drive up the block and around the corner to find his old CRX wraped around a no parking sign pole.
The guy who bought the car took the corner to fast, hit some loose gravel, and slide across the street into a pole!!! He didnt even have the car for 2 mins!!!
