Default cost of a LS motor?

well im buying a shell of a 91 integra how much would a auto ls cost? my brother needs a car in a few months and i have to do something to graduate so i found this a good opertunity to do so. so how much do these cars run? bone stock full swap.

I saw a complete LS in the market place going for a grand. It needed some body work, but that was all.

with a car? im getting a nice shell with no body work needed brand new paint job and rims with new tires. my dad is going to pay me back all the money i spend and i need a project to graduate thats y im not buying a full car. plus he doesnt get his license til end of august so i got time

Yeah that was with a car. You can find some shells on here for cheap. Im assuming this is for an auto body project for HS or College?

I just got a clean complete 94 ls swap for 1 grand. But i bet you could find a whole wrecked ls for that price or cheaper if you look.

ya HS project. you have to have a "senior project" to pass english. can be anything. just has to be something you have never done and are interested in or something for the community itself. ya im going to get that 91 integra off here and have him ship the motor. its just the long block. but i got all the motor mounts and axles and **** like that.

How does swapping a '94 integra LS motor into ur shell help the community?

I like where ur headed in terms of a senior project though. .

@ OP:
1g is too much..should be ~500, less usually.

OP, about 500 is what you are looking to spend. Or just get a B20B and a cable B16 tranny. And have fun.

what power does a b20 produce? i plan on doing cam shafts gears intake mani headers and high compression pistons and eagle rods before i put it n. and tuned on chrome once i do. whats the best engine i could do this with. on lets say 1800 or less money
