Cost of going with all-motor or FI?
Okay, I just bought a 2000 Si and have two ideas. The first it to get an AEM CAI, a DC Sports 4-1 header, a DC Sports Twin-Canister cat back, a CTR intake cam(and maybe a CTR exhaust cam, depending on cost), and a ITR manifold. The second it to just buy the Greddy turbo kit with the Twin-Canister cat back. What is the cost differences between the two, and which combo will make the best power for daily driving? Which would get better mileage?

the fun will begin when you do a little more research and figure out what kinda of car you want to build, then you will know which will make more power and be better for your needs.

I think that I've already done my research! I don't want to spend a ton of money on the car, as its not my dream car, but rather I just want to add some more power to it. As I said in my post, I want some more power for daily driving. No racing, tracks, or auto-x. I want a fast/quick street car. Not the fastest, but not stock either. If I get cams, it will most likely be the CTR ones. I'm not gonna do anything to the bottom end of the motor either. I want to get around 200-220hp out of the car. I know the Greddy turbo puts out 220-245 at the wheels, but I don't know what the header, intake, exhaust, and cams will do, or how much it will cost me. Any ideas?

Ya, but I'm still waiting for an answer to my question!!! Those are the two options that I've decided to go with, so an answer would be nice as to the cost and power of the all-motor setup! Thanks.

you`ll make 150`s, if you are lucky, and your torque will suck.

Intake = 150-200
header = 300-450
exhaust = 400-500
cams = 550-650
grand total = 1300-1800
good luck shooting for the 1300 number. It's all up to you, decide what you want first and do some research.

all motor is probably more reliable.as far as pricing--DO SOME RESEARCH
