Default Cornfield EM1 Find in Ohio. Should I save it?

I was heading from my parents house in midwest Ohio back to Cincinnati on my normal driving path and spotting something EPB hiding behind a semi trailer by a barn in a cornfield. So I swung in a crawled through 3 foot tall weeds to see what it was.

EM1 Civic. EBP. Looks to be rust free. Paint looks solid. Complete interior plus what looks like another whole Civic interior stuffed inside of it. Sitting on the ground with no wheels. Gutted engine bay. No bumpers, skirts, lips or headlights. Silver hood. I was thinking it was in an accident but the core support is EBP and looks straight. Im 80% sure I can track down the owners.

I guess I need some opinions on if it sounds like its worth saving. I've always wanted one but beat *** hacked up EM1s pull stupid prices around here. Im obviously not going to end up fixing it and making a profit on it with the amount of work it would need.

How much would you offer for it if you could find the owner?

I had an EJ8 for a little while but Im not super informed on how much an EM1 shares partwise with other 96-00 Civics. Aside from the engine and trans how much on an EM1 is EM1 specific?

Any help is appreciated. Especially if you are/know the owner. Car is located in Sidney, Ohio on a side road off of St Rt 29. Theres a house about a mile down the road with an EPB Si and a black Si with speed holes in the driveway.

How are there no picture accompanying this question that needs pictures to answer? Why is this not in the "What it's worth" thread?

I tried getting pictures but it was too dark for my junk *** cell phone. The last thing you want to do is overstay your welcome on somebody's property in hillbilly gun country. Haha

I'm going to stop and get pics next time I head home in a week or so. Its a 2 hour drive that I don't make very often. I actually stopped and looked at it about a month ago. Just now got around to making a thread.

Its not a really just a question of worth IMO.

Thanks anyways.

Kind of was my first thought. I remember a bunch of nice Honda's running around the area and frequenting this barn/garage when I was 10 or so (about 11 years ago). It wouldnt surprise me.

It's hard to place a price on something without pics , sound like it was stripped maybe its stolen .

I understand. I'll get pics in a week or so when I head home to get the windows tinted on my Accord.
