corner light prob.
i have the three wires black one white and green and one blue and red
the old harness for it was no good so i cut two new ones from the junkyard but the wires are different colors?!!?!?!? ive tried to swapping the wires though all of them and NO LUCK
anyone got any ideas other than going and getting more harness
i wanna take my car out tonight but dont want a ticket so let me know

Sounds like the 1157 dual circuit bulb. In which case the black is ground, the blue/red is standard power, and green/white is secondary power. You can splice the wires until a match appears. What are the colors off the one you got and does not match? I think maybe the contacts on the one from the junkyard are messed up, or possibly that the ground wire is shorted in your wiring harness, if it is only one bulb.

Absolutley, there is some metal around there, just strip the end wire and touch it body to the light's ground while the lights are one and see what happens.

Darn, I know this sounds stupid, but are the filements in the bulb burned out? the only other thing I can think of is that the base's contacts have fallen off, this happend to me once, had to re-solder the leads back on.
