Default cooling problem in a 94 gsr...

okay, just swapped in a 94 gsr into my coupe. the problem is that the motor seems to be TOO COOL. meaning that it doesnt ever get hot unless i drive around for 30 min. the temp needle is always on the bottom, barely moving from the bottom portion. it does sometimes get to the middle when i go on the hwy, but when i get off, the temp needle goes back down. i checked my fan and it doesnt seem to even blow. im just worried there might be something wrong. my conclusion is that maybe the thermostat is sticking and letting coolent flow constantly. also when its cold, vtec doesnt work, but does work after driving for a bit. any suggestions. thanks in advance

swap in a working thermostat.

does your fan stay on constantly ? maybe your thermoswitch is making the fan come on more often than it should?

thermostats are CHEAP! (read: inexpensive)

Your thermo is most likely stuck open.. just replace it.. i bet when you pull it out it'll be stuck open. Good Luck.
