Cooling Fan Not Kicking on 92 Civic 4 Door Lx.
I just put together a crazy engine combination and before when i had my complete d16z6 the fan never kicked on but the pressure never built up good enough to need the fan. but now if i let my D15B and D16Y8 head just idle 30 minutes it starts to boil water inside the coolant reservoir but will not over heat. i realized my fan never kicked on so i connected it directly to my battery while driving.
What will cause it not to kick on and where are the relays and fuse for it? im missing my cover that tell me what fuse is for what.
Thanks!

Disconnect the connector for the fan switch on the thermostat housing. Put a jumper wire across the free connector. Does the fan now run when the key is turned to ON(II)? If so, the switch is bad.

Is it okay to put a jumper and tape it up and have the fan run always when the motors on? or should i change thermo housings?

Well, that is the problem then because when the old z6 engine was in their was a sensor their and my JDM engine didn't have a sensor on the Housing so i left it hanging.

That's a fine temporary solution: under-heating is a lot better than overheating at least, but you'll probably run rich due to cold motor and maybe lose a little fuel economy and catalytic converter life. It'd be worth it to me, I'm about to do the same.

I am running a manual switch, even with the fan on constantly when the car is on, never do I ever under cool lol. I really don't think you can at a normal warm temp, because the fan doesnt move that much air, and if it under cooled at those fan speeds, man driving on the free way would suck your economy bad

I had the same problem yesterday with my sol, the fuse is the 4th 15a fuse to the right under the hood.
