Default Help: Obd2 D16y7 Engine Into 92 Civic Hatch Obd1

hey guys,

im wondering what all i will need to put the obd2 d16y7 that I have into my 92 civic hatch obd1?

i have an obd1 intake manifold,tb,rail,injectors,alternator,obd1 dseries engine harness,starter,dizzy. p06 ecu

what else would i need?

let me know thanks a lot..

any help would be greatly appreciated..

yeah you hae absolutly everything you need to do so. you will not need the knock sensor since you ecu isnt looking for it and and with everything that have rambled off your harness with snap in and all you have to do is go. so pretty much its a snap and go from here. good luck

I'm going to be doing something similar... I've got a 92 CX with stock d15b8 (blown) and I want to put a d16y7 (98 LX) into my car. How do I accomplish this?

I'm going to be using my original transmission.. is this fine? Just swap over my distributor, wiring harness, intake manifold (complete) and that's it? Is there anything else that needs to be done or purchased? thanks!

Dont forget the injectors! I'm pretty sure the engine harness is already wired for VTEC. Just swap all the other OBDI components and your set.
