coolant sensor question
hey, my cluster reads that my car is always cold. even when im blowing hot air and driving on the freeway for a while it barely moves up not even near the half way mark.
i noticed on this diagram the "green" plug is not screwed all the way in i can see some threading of the sensor showing. is that the problem?
or it shouldnt really matter because its still in there.
btw i have a b16 im not sure if this diagram applys but it looks close.

Re: coolant sensor question (cyb3rjak)
btw the green one reads directly to my cluster right? and the red one is for the fan? bcause mine was not turning on so i replaced the fan switch next to the thermostat housing.

dunno if there is a difference in location but that diagram shows a d-series motor. do you have a thermostat in your car? without one that could cause it to run colder

yes, i just replaced my thermostat. its not even pictured in the diagram. when i say cold i mean the meter is like on C the first white bar.
