Coolant Resivior filling up but don't return.

okay i haven't checked my car out for a while like a month or so. i recently checked the underhood fluids and stuff. my vx motor d15z1 has like 2XX,XXX plus miles on it but still runs like a champ.
my problem is that i checked my resivior and it seems like fluid don't return to the radiator WTF?? it was like above full and i open the radiatior cap to see it looks like it was empty. i added like 1/2 quart of engine oil. because it was low

a month ago i added some water at the resivior, but it wasn't that much. also

i have no problems with my engine overheating whatsoever.
i added the collant back from the radiatior bottle to the radiator. it was almost the whole bottle i had to put back into the radiatior.

so i added water to the resivior.
i used honda coolant long time ago but i only added one bottle of collant w/water. is that ratio no good? its expensive so i just add water now. i hope to convert it to the green coolant nxt time.

i did a compression test from one to the 4 cylinders.

1 i had like about 170, 175, 180, 175. about there..

my concern is what is it doing that what could be the problem?

no leaks etc.
is it blown?

What is a compression test? How do you do it? What are good results?

did you say you put oil in the radiator??? you might have a slow leak, or there might be some evaporation. bad reservoir?

Seriously:ugh: his numbers are ok for the engine and the amount of miles it has.

it won't return if there's "sludge" in the hose(enough to clog)

Id replace the reservoir hose and the radiator cap. Consider it cheap insurance.

Also, if the water u added wasnt distilled water, u should change the coolant asap.

Possible bad radiator cap I'd say

More likely the hose even if there isn't any sludge in it waiting on OP to answer

I changed the radiator cap oem from honda.
same issue.
blew through the rad. resivior hose, no leaks through. but when its hot the hose feels loose. zipped tied the hoses and it now
I did a block test, removed like almost 1/2 the radiator of coolant. ran the engine till fan comes on and tested the dam thing for like almost 10minutes.
i did this twice and the color is blue it didn't change any color. no yellow or green color in the block tester.

then the next day, i did a pressure test, when i was pumping to about like 10 psi to 13psi a leak showed up near the top rad. hose and the top rad hose housing near head.

okay then i cleaned the housing put some silicone and retightened the dam hose.
i pressure tested it to like about 18 psi. the area i fixed was good but
then the rear heater hose near the valve and bottom hose near the thermostat housing was leaking. dripping coolant....

i also tightened it. screw clamps.

re tested it pump back about ten minutes 13 minutes. holds pressure good, 18psi no visual drip of leaks......

Today in the morning i checked fluids engine cold, topped off radiator coolant and re checked the coolant resivior to the full line.
i test drove like about an hour. i ran the car hard and also slow steady runs.

checked parked the coolant resivior is almost to the dam top again.
i see slight oil film floating on the top of the coolant bottle and inside the rad.
a week ago the resivor would take a week to fill up to the top.
now it seems like it takes a day to get it filled over to the top.

i assumed the cooling system is leak free i pressure tested a day ago and fixed the leak.
i assume now the system has vacuum pressure that is holding w/cold and it supposed to draw coolant back in wtf??? whats wrong??? y its not drawing coolant back.......

what is it gasket blown???
i did the comp. test month ago, pressure test two days ago, and block test also. all test seems to pass???

how can i verify if its the dam head gasket.
