coolant passage leak

Default coolant passage leak

are these seals or gaskets known to leak on back of block? and if so is hondabond good to use.

There is an O-ring on there that can leak. No Hondabond, just replace the O-ring. You'll have to drain the system and remove the thermostat housing to get the coolant tube out.
