Default Coolant nipple sealing? What to use...

Well,
I have my b20 prepped and ready but I have one thing holding me up.

I removed the FITV valve and the throttle body coolant lines.
I have a nipple on the water tube behind the block and one on the front of the block on the radiator hose inlet.
My question is how do I seal these off?
Can I:
Use Metal JB weld and seal them up and cap them off.

Weld them shut with a standard MIG welder? (I would just do this but I'm worried about rust from the welds getting into the coolant system over time)

Or is my only sertain fix the hose with a bolt in it.. ( this method while ghetto seems to work for sure)

Let me know what you think.

I don't see anything?
Also rubber caps I have been told are prone to blowing out.

got one on my truck. used a radiator from a 3500 chevy diesel has an extra hose port on it, put a 5/8" cap on it and a wormdrive calmp and its been there for a long time. it is starting to crack a little tho, so i'll probably put another one on. but hey, it was only. $.98 at the local mom and pop autopart store

well I have a the means to weld them shut.. I just didn't want to weld them shut and for some reason it rust up... When people say they welded the nipples shut do they mean then use stainless steel tig rod or just a normal mig welder?

You can not simply loop the inlet and outlet? You will always have the opportunity to return to the heated throttle body if you ever had such a need.
