Default coolant leak onto back of engine

I've got a coolant leak on the back all over the speed sensor area and it's dripping down toward the shift linkage. I'm noticing a pretty big puddle under neath the car from not driving it one day. I've checked all the hoses and I can see no sign of a leak or anything. I've got no clue where it's leaking from, anybody seen this before?

There are quite a few coolant connections in that area..

rent/borrow a pressure tester and get a mirror on stick.

clean and dry all dripping coolant.

put on the pressure test or start you car, start looking for leaks.

that sucks! i had a leak with coolant spraying onto my oil filter, it ended being a water bypass hose with worn O-rings, but yeah borrow a pressure tester and start looking!

i have the car on right now but i can't see anything still. None of the hoses are leaking. I'm feeling around the hoses but i don't feel anything wet or odd.

I think mine is doing the same thing, cause on the firewall I see dry wet marks all over and underneath my intake there are dry wet spots there as well. But still can't find anything.

your main concern would be a crappy o-ring that comes into the thermostat housing... just wait for it to really heat up! then youll notice where its at. unfortunately i couldnt figure where it was at so i took off but my intake mani. but at least its fixed and i now have a new hondata gasket

ok i found another leak haha. Underneath the distributor there's coolant leaking but I see a coolant leak there. Maybe it's dripping from there all the way to the back?

at the other end of this water valve hose where it goes to the block underneath the dist is where it's ripped and leaking.

I bet it is one of heater core hoses.
They will often only expand when the engine is under load=driving.
Hoses are cheap so just change them out and forget about the problem.
