Converting my drums to disc brakes..What do I need?
I have a 96 hatchback and I want to convert my drum brakes to discs since my LCA bushings are going out..what exactly do I need?
these are the only parts that come to mind..
- 94-01 integra complete trailing arm assemblies
- ebrake cables
- 4040 proportioning valve(does 96 dx comes with it stock?)
I'm sure a lot of people have done this conversion. Any tips would truly be appreciated. Thanks!

i did this to my hatch its pretty easy but if u havent worked on the bottom end in a long time make sure u get a torch to heat up the screws....b\c when they seize its a b*Tch and your better off goin to a auto parts after market store and getting new trailer arm bushing b\c its better to change em while u have the trailer arm off then to take it apart and do it again

also make sure u have adj. toe links and camber kits ready for an alignment...u might not need the toe links but if their not adj and u use the factor bracket makes life harder

Not only is none of this needed, you need to proof read your post's before you post again.
To the OP, keep your stock prop valve. It has the same part # as 99-00 Si.
You could use the rear disk setup from 92-00 civic's, and 94-01 integra's, and it will bolt right on. Not sure if you know already, but you can only use 96-00 LCA's.

I did it myself on my Civic. I have the rear trailing arm from a 97 Integra on one side and a 94 Integra on the other. I also replaced the upper and lower control arms and did my shocks and springs at the same time. It all bolts up. I would highly recommend having air tools handy, it makes things go a lot faster.
