Default Converting motor from obd2a>obd2b?

So here's the deal.

I have a 99 Civic DX Hatchback, with the stock harness in it (obd2b.) and i have a 97 LS completed swap in it, including the ecu (obd2a.) and right now i have a obd2b>obd2a ecu conversion harness..

I just bought an AEM EMS, but it's obd2b.

So my question is..

What do i have to do to convert my motor to obd2b? so i can use this bish.

Is it just changing the sensors on the Intake manifold? or does it require more then that?

Thats kinda the opposite of what i'm trying to do.. i already have the 99-00 harness in there.. and a 99 obd2b ecu, i just have an 97 obd2a motor.. which i want to convert to obd2b.. from what i'm told all i have to do is change the sensors that are on the intake manifold?

can anyone confirm this for me?

I think there is a harness that will do what you need, OBD2B to OBD2A. King has them, and so do a bunch of other places:

Those are what i have atm.. they convert your engine harness to something else.. i already have the ecu and harness i need.. i just need to know if there's anything i need to do to the motor to convert it from obd2a to obd2b.

As far as I know, the only difference between OBD2a and OBD2b is the fact that the OBD2b has the immobilizer linked to the ignition system that is "mated" with a key. I am not 100% sure if that's the only difference, but if all of your sensors match up to all of the plugs on the harness you should be fine.

There is a guy on here his name is Katman (he operates ff-squad.com) who knows pretty much everything there is to know about these things. Check on his site for pinouts to be completely sure, or maybe ask Katman to confirm.

Strait from the man.. so if anyone else has this question, here's the answer.

differences in US OBD2a/b engnes? nothing really, its mainly the wire harness & ecu that has changed. So you can technically through an OBD2b engine into an OBD2a vehicle and all will plug n' play.
you dont have to change a damn thing ; reuse your 99 DX harness and the EMS and you'll be good to go. one thing though, there's gonna be about 10 wires on the integra distributor plug and there will be about 8 wires on your DX's wire harness side distributor plug. What you'll need to do is swap over the integra wire harness side distributor (dizzy) plug onto your DX harness, and just color match all the pins into the plug ....your DX harness will be short 2 wires (i think it is) ..don't worry about those extra wires, your car will still run and everything, just make sure you color match the wires when you repin the integra dizzy plug onto your DX harness.
