converting manuel to power windows and locks on eg hatch
it sounds like a bitch when trying to fit your hand in the little holes in the doors to hook everything up. is it possible to jus buy the whole door of a wrecked ex coupe. will the coupe door fit on the hatch. is plug and play or do you have to run a wire from under the dash to the door. will integra door panels fit on the eg door

Re: converting manuel to power windows and locks on eg hatch (sleeepy808)
so many questions..........use some structure in
your posts, its a bit more user friendly.
If I was going it I would buy the whole door. Not sure, but I would
think you have to change out the whole track and what not. If you
were using oem parts anyways. I think there is some aftermarket
kits out there you can get, but I am never satisfied with non oem.
But remember that all doors with power windows will have side
moldings, and with side moldings come side molding holes.
Im not sure on wiring. I dont see why they would make two different
harnesses, but they did it for the engine harnes, so im thinking that
you would have to do some wiring, or get the full interior harness.
Integra door pannels "fit" but they dont fit well. I am almost positave
you need the integra dash to go with them, and even still, have to
do some custom molding crap to pull it off.

im not sure about fitting electric windows (someone did a decent how to the other day) but the central locking mechanism is quite straightforward, there is a switch attached to the latch which is the hardest bit to do (have to take inner and outer door handles off) and that just wires up to a relay box on the inside of the door which controls an electric motor on the otherside..pretty simple stuff, easier than getting new doors imo..as for the wiring loom, i'm not sure..
