Converting to Integra 1" master cylinder
I am wondering if someone can clarify for me what is needed for a master cylinder conversion. I have seen some for sale (Integra 1" bore GSR or R type) with, and without the output shaft (extension). I am looking for a 98 and up master cylinder. I drive a 1998 Acura EL it has the 15/16 master cylinder with abs. Do I need this output shaft extension? Thanks in advance.

I appreciate the direction/guidance. I have initiated several search strings and have yet to see anyone address the output shaft extension of the master cylinder, and whether it is required for my master cylinder exchange. Rather than telling me to do a search why don't you provide me the link to the thread, or share with me your immense wealth of knowledge regarding master cylinder upgrades. A simple "yes" you do need it, or "no" you don't would have been sufficient.
