Default converting D16Y8 Distributor to 0BD1

Ok I know Unpin the 0BD1 connectors the 2-wire one is Simple.

However the 8-pin plug is turning out to be a pain in the ***. Now I'm guessing that since the y8 dizzy only has 5 wires and the z6 harness has 7 honda decided to remove a sensor from the dizzy on 0BD2 vehicles. and they have added the crank fluctuation sensor directly behind the harmonic balancer. my question is after having looked thru a haynes and a chilton manual for both 0BD1 and 0BD2 trying to match wires with there perspective locations and figure out exactly which wires are what.

if anyone has a definite answer please chime in and try and get a sticky going I'll reformat this first post with pics and unpinning/repinning procedure.

thank you

Why not just use a conversion harness and plug n' play?
