Default Converting auto to manual

How easy would it be to convert a '93 del sol si from automatic tranny to manual tranny? I greatly dislike automatics but I think I found a good deal on one that might be worth investing some money into. Does anyone know if this can be done and if so how hard is it to do? I would prefer if I could do it myself without needing tons of fabrication and whatnot, any help would be great thanks!

Yes it's possible but alots of work, tools, parts, and knowledge on how-to. You can try doing it yourself but try do some research. IF you having too much problem putting a standard tranny then take it too a shop because it will save time, problem, and many issues. It would have been better you brought a manual car.

Yeah my bad on the not searching thing... I was in a hurry 'cuz I had to get to class earlier, and it just kinda came to mind so I posted about it... I should have known better. No apology necessary, and thanks for the link. in my defense I am a noob... lol

yes thank you, I abandoned that Idea, but now I have even crazier plans that I'm sure I will never follow through with... I have a '95 BMW M3 engine (S50B30, I think) that I would love to put into a little honda of some kind, but I know it will never happen, and would take a ridiculous amount of fabricating to make everything, or anything fit.

well it should run after the swap but you will most likely need the manual computer and will probably have to cut a little where the shift linkage comes through the floorboard.
