Don't get me wrong, I love the car. The problem is the fact that the kid I bought it from lied like crazy in order to get me to buy it. So I'm having to currently go through and get it all fixed up and running great. The problem is I'm strapped for cash, so I can't mod it much yet. Lesson learned. I test drove it, but the problems didn't show until I took it to get a safety and emissions done.

I will work on those previous. On to the next ones:

1) the car starts to shake when I get on the freeway. I have the tires balanced and rotated, did the alignment, and had the rotors checked just in case. Could this be a problem of the bad Rack and Pinion?

2) I need to replace the seats for cheap. the Junk yards around here don't have any Del Sols. Where can I find some good seats for cheap?

There are still more problems but most of the others I know how to fix.

1: Does it make any noise while shaking? This could be anything from bad wheel bearings, busted tie rod ends, ball joints, warped rotors, warped/bent rim. All sorts of things. Essentially everything in the suspension geometry needs to be checked without giving more information than "it shakes".

2: Just keep an eye out on craigslist. They show up semi-often here. Are the seats gone? Or just in crappy shape? If the latter, just get a set of walmart covers until you can replace them.
