Ok guys, to make a long story short.
I bought a 4-1 mugen header from a buddy of mine w/ 2.5 collector for dirt cheap.
Because of this i though it would make sense to increase the piping to 2.5 also.
This would mean I have to buy a 2.5 highflow cata and 2.5 inlet muffler as well. I never intended to spend alot of money till this.
I was checking out Ktellers piping from many of u guys recommending it.
Very good reviews by the way. Anyhow, Im second guessing the whole thing cause someone mentioned that likely i wont pass smog. Daily driver by the way.
Now im thinking about selling the header and get a CARB DC 4-2-1 headers w/2.25 collector to go with the existing stock piping and add the ES oval muffler. Only becuase the smog issue made me think this way.
What do u guys think?

just save everything u have now and change it out when your smog is due. i personally would trade that header. BTW you cant go wrong with kteller's products.

2.25 is the most you should use on a NA engine unless you have some hot build up.
I would go with the DC sports is 4-2-1 which will make it more drivable, since 4-2-1 headers respond better then 4-1 headers at low rpm. If your getting a header, might as well replace the rest of the exhaust too IMO.

yes , i would suggest replacing your exhaust with 2.25" piping and get a resonator and good muffler to make it a great performing but suttle sounding system.
