I'd check the regular places like hondapartsdeals.com...Majestic Honda. Etc. These places may still have some in stock, even though it's supposedly been discontinued. I bought one new about a year ago while it was still in production.

Lots of places still have them around, as others have said, and they sure as hell aren't anywhere near $500. Try calling hmotors if you can't find one anywhere else.
That ebay dude can get bent.

These consoles are discontinued. Most online parts stores will still list them though because they use the Honda parts catalog as their online catalog. They're not going to remove all the discontinued parts one by one.
So, yes, they will list them, but they won't have them. Almost all accessories from 2000 and earlier are discontinued. No more floormats, shift *****, lip kits or ashtrays either. Anything you manage to find through a dealership is some of the very last stock, if not the final item.
Since they're in limited numbers new and there really isn't a great place to supply a business with a particular used item, you probably will not find a business that just lists anything like this for sale. RHD ones are easier to find since so many businesses scrap cars in Japan to sell the parts here. But those don't fit LHD cars very well.
