Connector/sensor help?? OBD0 LS into OBD2 EM1; LS/VTEC
I am putting an OBD0 LS (B18A1) block and OBD0 JDM B16 head into a 99' Civic Si that I just pulled the original B16A2 from. I'm using the original OBD2 wiring harness. I'm going to be using the P2T ECU until I can afford a conversion harness and get my P28 chipped. Not my main question, but would an OBD2 GSR ECU be fine to run an LS/VTEC engine? I only plan on daily driving it.
Anyways, my problem regards two sensors... Here's some pics..
First, is on the B18A1 block, there is the two pin fan switch which is on the OBD2 thermostat housing, no problem there. There is also a one pin connector that I assume is the oil sender, which is the same on both blocks, so no problem there. My concern is the other sensors... One the B18A1, there is a green, two pin connector/sensor... Here's a pic..
On the original B16A2 motor, there isn't a connector like that. It only has a one pin black connector/sensor... Pic...
Can someone shed some light onto what these sensors are, and what I need to do about changing the harness (if needed)??
Thanks in advance!
Jason

On the OBD0 motors, isn't the ECT sensor on the cylinder head under the distributor? If so, I'm pretty sure the B16A2 motor had the same sensor/connector on the cylinder head but I'm not sure.
According to HondaPartsDeals.com's diagrams, it shows that the black sensor on the B16A2 engine is the knock sensor.
According to AcuraAutomotiveParts.org's diagrams, it says that the green sensor on the OBD0 motor is a thermo sensor.
How many temp sensors are needed? Here's what I understand; the ECT is on the cylinder head under the distributor; the fan switch is located on the block; what is this thermo sensor for? Gauge readings? Do the OBD2 ECUs rule out that sensor, and just read off one of the others?
